Music and Wim
Music is all about communication.
The music that I play is meant as a vehicle towards communication. It is about telling stories during a concert. Listen to yours, tell you mine and in this way getting to know each other.
I love singing in Dutch, English, Spanish, German, French and Arabic.
In my sounds you can recognize my inspiration in Cuban and African guitar styles and I adore incorporating in my improvisations musical and mystical influences from the Middle and Far East.
I play the guitar, the diatonic accordeon, rav drum (or hang drum), didgeridoo and many more percussion instruments.
Small-scale and close to you
A small-scale performance. With my guitar on my lap and close to the audience. In your living room, in your garden.
